*FINAL :)*

The video we watched today was very interesting and it opened my eyes to a lot of things that i wasn't concerned about. Google has become a huge company that everybody is using on the daily basis, every search that is being made by anyone is being recorder in their own personal "record" so its really hard to try to get rid of the searches you have made. So you have to be really careful about what you search for because the companies that follow up with all the searches can identify you even if you think you are being sneaky about it. Now when you think about using Google you might want to make sure that you are constantly being careful about what you do and search for on there, as well as the things you post online on any social network because they can affect you down the road. Remember everyone can see what you have down years from now and you wont even know it, jobs tempt to look for certain things like that to find out more personal stuff about you, and making sure that you are not going to affect their company in any way. Finally, i think that America should be more aware of the consequences of adding pictures, advertising, searches, and even the emails sent to someone else can affect you, your whole entire life.

*Music Licensing*

I personally never really knew much about licensing and even the music played on the radio and on TV is licensed, because they dont want to to be sewed by the original artist that created the song. Once you create your own piece of music and write it down on a paper is automatically yours and it can be sent to the copyrights court house to make sure they have it on file and no one can copy right it without any permission. No matter the reason why you need that certain song you always have to make sure you have the right to copy right or use that certain file or you could get in big trouble. Every radio station have to buy a blanket license which allows them to play music in public. You always have to be careful what you use weather is a picture, video, song, or commercial you always have to make sure you have the right to use that certain content or talk to the person who actually owns the content.

*Google Drive Privacy Settings*

Google has officially announced Google Drive, solution that will be a cloud sync and backup services. The service, which gives you 5GB of storage for free, and is available for anyone with a Google account. The Google Drive client, which is currently available for PC, Mac, and Android devices, works similarly to Dropbox: it creates a single folder on your computer that syncs your data with Google's servers and with your other synced devices. But one thing is that if you want to upgrade your GB you will pay to pay for it. The advantage that Drive has if you've already got documents in Google Docs, they will automatically appear in your Google Drive. Sharing, collaborating, and commenting on files is also built-in, and being able to scan pictures and files into your Google account to be able to share with others.

*Citations*

The 3 websites i used for my citations were EasyBib, Bibme, Sons of Citations, and according to the The owl at Purdue all of them were right. One of the difference about each one is that they had different ways of adding the information into the website so it was able to give you citation on the book i wanted to get a MLA citation from.

*World Wide Web*

I personally think that the whole video was quite correct about everything they talked about, all websites are becoming more and more diverse that the world keeps on creating new accounts wheather they read the information or not, that doesnt seem to really matter to us teenagers, but when it comes to the adults they are the ones that are more worried about whats going on in their privacy settings. Google, youtube, Facebook and Ebay have become the main companies that keep making the web more and more diverce. I personally dont trust Wikipedia, because anyone can just edit the website and i don't think is quite trustworthy to use on research papers.

*Privacy Settings*

I think that most people don't really care about their privacy settings until they are being affected and their personal information is being shared to other websites as well as other people. Me personally i really watch out for my privacy settings, because there has been strangers that look like they are in their 40's trying to add me and send me messages on FB. I got really creeped out so i changed my settings to where only my friends can send me messages on FB and no one can look at my personal information unless they are my friends. Also Fb Settings are a little tricky, you have to be able to know your way around from not letting anyone see your personal information unless they are your friends. The games on FB allow even the people you block from seeing you, as well as being able to see someone else's comments even if they arent your friends. You have to be real careful on who you add on Facebook, it can be really scary if you don't have your Facebook on private.
